 Guaranteed Improved Profit Through CIP Programme

The Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) enables the identification of areas of waste in terms of time and resources in any workshop or factory environment. The course provides an understanding of CIP and how to implement actions derived from it to increase profits, customer satisfaction and enhance employee relations.

Course Duration 1 Day

Venue ~ Venues will be chosen to be as convenient as possible to all applicants. Since the majority of CIP consultancy contracts are outside the EU (due to the Directors’ worldwide experience), courses can be arranged anywhere in the world so long as sufficient applications are received, but prices may have to be amended according to the non-UK location.

 Target Audience

Ideally someone who is independent of the service department/ workshop/ factory. for example a service manager from another branch or a member of the HR Development team (or someone with training experience). It is recommended that Manufacturing delegates attend a dedicated course so the content can be angled toward manufacturers' particular circumstances.


Some hands-on knowledge of workshop/factory activities.


To train delegates to identify areas where improvements can be made using a Continuous Improvement Process (CIP), particularly in workshops/factories, leading to increased efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

 Learning Outcomes

The delegate will be able to:

1) Understand the principles of CIP

2) Conduct a CIP Programme in their own company

3) Identify (by working with their staff) practical solutions to problems identified

4) Improve the profit and success of their company

 We exhibited this year again at this event which was the largest one since it started 10 years ago.

 On the stand we received many of our contacts in the region as well as a wide range of new visitors. We were gratified to notice that there was a much more prominent air of optimism regarding the recession than last year as well as a greater volume of visitors overall.

Research Projects

 Over the last few months we have received a larger than usual number of requests for research projects of varying natures. This is most encouraging as we feel it is another indicator that the market is becoming more optimistic.

 We are still in the research stage of most of these so it is too early to reach any definite conclusions but it certainly appears to be a good omen.

 This is a new development in the UAE specifically designed for the Automotive and heavy equipment sectors. It caters for Dealers, workshops, parts outlets and factories and is strategically placed.

 CIP are involved in that we are being recommended to a number of companies interested in developing their businesses within the Development so that, with our wide experience of helping a number of clients to make the best use of the space available, we can assist them from the outset to ensure the layout of their buildings and open space is as efficient and practical as possible.

Mauritius Free Zone

For some while now Mauritius has been developing a Duty Free Zone as a gateway to Southern & Central Africa. Companies establishing a presence in  the zone do not pay tax and have a cost-effective base from which to supply the Region. An ideal location for Central Parts Departments, etc.
