THE success of a business operation is directly proportional to customer awareness of its products, services and reputation. IN many countries there is a desire to plan for the indigenous population to gradually fill positions currently held by expatriate personnel. CIP can assist by preparing a plan for this change over and can give local personnel gradually reducing levels of support and assistance whilst developing them to assume the full responsibilities of the position.


WHEN a senior manager leaves a company at short notice it usually takes some while to locate a suitable replacement. For subordinates or other managers to stand in for a short while may not be appropriate. CIP offers a locum service which not only avoids the temptation to hire the first available applicant, regardless of suitability, but also provides an outsider’s view of the business which may assist both management and the new incumbent to more rapidly reassess the operation of the department.

IN the planning of any business it is imperative to have detailed knowledge of one’s market and to continuously monitor relevant changes and anticipated trends. Independent market surveys are the most practical way of obtaining unbiased market information. ALL training courses are tailor-made for the particular operation, environment and requirements of the client. Modules are created to allow ongoing development as required. CIP also specialises in on-the-job training as well as long term training schemes. See also our Training Page.

COURSES are available covering all aspects of the sales operation including, but not limited to, accessories, commission schemes, communications, computer systems, customer facing personnel, financial management, follow systems, forecasting, leasing, personnel management, point of sale material, prospecting, qualifying prospects, recruitment, sales aids, sales management, specifications, territory planning, time management, used product appraisal and stock control.
TECHNICAL training often needs to be franchise specific and is usually covered by the manufacturers themselves. However, where this is not the case, CIP can arrange to cover specific areas of technical training for clients.  Training of non-productives is generally not franchise specific. CIP conducts training courses and seminars covering all disciplines which include, but are not limited to, Appointments, Communications, Computer Systems, Contract Maintenance, Costing and Administration, Customer Relations, Financial Management, Incentive Schemes, New Product Preparation, Personnel Management, Product Delivery Techniques, Quality Control, Reception, Recruitment, Service Management, Service Workshop Control, Special Tools & Equipment, Warranty Operations, Work Distribution, Workshop Efficiency and Workshop Layout.

COURSES are available covering all aspects of the parts operation including, but not limited to, catalogue, CD-ROM and microfiche reading, computer systems, identification of parts, lead times, logistics, personnel management, pricing policies, stock control and warehouse layout.
